HERITAGE ACADEMY (COLUMBUS) - Luke Yeatman is a righthanded pitcher for Heritage Academy. Luke, a very young senior who turned 17 on July 16, 2001, throws in the 82-84 mph range with a great breaking pitch. Luke has defeated teams such as Tuscaloosa Academy, Marshall Academy, and Oak Hill Academy during his career. Has a very strong work ethic.
EUPORA HS - Eupora HS has several juniors who have a chance to develop into D-I prospects if they continue to work hard and physically develop. QB Cliff Davis and DB Kentrell Brookes have previously been mentioned by me. A couple of others who fit into that category are Chad Tedder, a 6-4, 285-pound offensive lineman, and Eric Marshall, a 6-1, 190-pound wide recevier.

HOUSTON HS - Houston HS junior linebacker Jerome Lyons (6-2, 210) was recently selected by a television channel (TV 7) as the Defensive Player of the Year in an areas that covers sports in Pontotoc, Houston, Water Valley, Oxford, Lafayette County and all of the Calhoun County teams. He was selected over one of the top seniors in the State, linebacker Detrick Clark of Pontotoc HS. Jerome had 157 tackles in 11 games this year. According to my sources, he is always around the ball, and he can really run.

EAST CENTRAL HS - Ryan Guardia is a 5-8, 195-pound junior-to-be kicker who kicks for East Central High School in Hurley, Mississippi.
Ryan has lead his team in scoring the past two years. A starter since his 9th grade year, Ryan has a 53 yard field goal (a district record) to his credit. During his junior season, he made 72% of his field goals, with a long of 48. Ryan was selected to the All-District team at the end of his junior season.
Ryan, who has already increased his kickoffs 5 to 8 yards in the past few weeks, will take private lessons from Rob Pelfrey, the number one kicking coach in the nation according to Sports Illustrated.
Ryan has already received a letter from at least one college, Northwestern University in Illinois.
LAWRENCE COUNTY HS - Middle Tennessee State has signed Lawrence County/Co-Lin defensive back Aaron Pitts and is strongly recruiting Lawrence County DB/WR Jason Snell and Wayne Hardy. Wayne, who is a Southern Miss commitment, is also receiving attention from Mississippi State. As for Snell, he has offers from Delta State, MTSU and Troy State, along with SWAC schools.
