MARSHALL ACADEMY (Holly Springs) - MA has two junior football players that bear watching. They are Seth Adams, a 6-3, 180-lb., quarterback who runs a 4.7 forty. According to my source, he has a very good arm. Also a very good baseball player. Derrick Holman is a 6-2, 280-lb. offensive tackle who runs the forty in 5.1 seconds. Has quick feet, very strong (365 bench and 1,100 pound leg press). This past season was his first to play football.

MAGEE HS - Magee High School has a freshman football player that bears watching. James Anderson is a 6-4, 285-pound offensive lineman with 5.4 speed in the forty. According to my source, he has a chance to be a good one. His dad was an outstanding football player for Magee back in the days when they were a power in the Little Dixie conference. The word is he is also related to the Mangum's who played football for Alabama and Ole Miss.

NEW ALBANY HS - All the talk in New Albany was about star player Jay Kirkland. While Jay very likely has a very good future in college ball, the player with the most potential on the New Albany team may be a sophomore by the name of Danielle Cook. Danielle is a 6-2, 265-lb. offensive lineman who, according to my source, already benches 335 pounds and squats 625. If he adds a couple of inches to his height and knocks two or three of tenths off of his forty speed (5.4), he has a chance to be a super prospect his senior season.
