NEW ALBANY HS - New Albany's junior catcher Collins Coltharp, one of the top juniors in Mississippi this season, is batting .505 with a 24-game hitting streak. He is also second in the state with 19 doubles, behind Nettleton's Jeffrey Rea (22). The state record for doubles in a season was set by East Webster's Jacob Hodges with 28 in 1995.
