Southaven HS - And yet another great player from Southaven HS. According to my source, Kelley Chalmers is a senior infielder/outfielder who hit .454 as a junior and .425 as a sophomore on the SHS team. Keep an eye on this kid.
Tupelo HS - Brandon Bruce is a 6-foot, 185-pound junior (class of 2005) strong safety who was chosen to this year's All-Region Class 1-5A team. He also was selected Tupelo HS's MVP linebacker. An excellent power-lifter, this past weekend he placed 2nd at the five-team Pontotoc Power-Lifting Invitational in the 199-pound weight class.

Southaven HS - Watch out for C. J. Schuetz, a 6-foot-6, 205-pound freshman defensive end with 4.86 speed in the forty. C. J. finished the year on the varsity team after playing on the 9th grade team. Not only is he showing possible college potential in football but he is also showing D-I potential in baseball, throwing 81 mph as a right-handed pitcher. With his frame, he has a chance to add a lot of fastball velocity.

Southaven HS - Keep an eye out for LHP Michael Robbins. According to my source, he was named Player of the Year in Desoto County last year and is listed by TeamOne as one of the top 70 LHPs in the country. Although he received interest from several D-I schools, he plans on attending Meridian CC, then transferring to a D-I school.

Northwest Rankin HS - Stuart Davidson is a wide receiver that bears watching next season after being 5th in receiving in Mississippi 5A this past year. For the season, he accumlated 684 yards and 7 touchdowns on 29 catches. Stuart, who runs a 4.5 forty, is 6-foot-1, 180 pounds. He is also a good student.
