09/30/99 - East Miss. CC Baseball Lions defeated Wallace State 9-0, Friday in their first game but lost the second game to Shelton State 9-4 after Jefferson State failed to show up.

EMCC used ten of its eleven pitchers in the two games. Jeremy Bell from West Point hit a three-run homer in the first game.

09/30/99 - If you live near East Central CC, their basketball teams are having practice and a meet the players night on Tuesday, October 12th, beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Lady Warrior practice is from 6:30 to 7:30, followed by Meet the Players (both teams) from 7:30 to 7:45. The Warrior practice is from 7:45 to 8:45.
