07/04/02 - Baseball notes.

  • MSU signee Brad Corley, drafted in the 16th round by the Colorado Rockies, was selected as Kentucky's Mr. Baseball. Another MSU signee from Kentucky, Casey Hamilton, finished third in the balloting.
  • Redshirt freshman left-handed pitcher Les Dykes is currently pitching for Bolittieri in the Florida Collegiate League. Prior to last night, he had thrown 3 innings. Les is in FCL to work on his control.
