01/31/99 Go here to view pictures of the Dudy Noble Stadium expansion. As I mentioned earlier, I will have weekly updates each Monday or Tuesday.

01/29/99 - The latest word is new Bulldog Cliff Wren is showing home run pop during the early practices. If you get the chance, go out and watch the Diamond Dawgs practice. (P.S. Email me an update.)

01/23/99 - MSU is picked to finish 30th in the nation, according to the latest issue of Baseball America. They also project MSU to be one of eight SEC teams to be invited to a NCAA regional. MSU pitcher Matt Ginter is considered the 6th best college prospect (for MLB draft purposes).

01/23/99 - Advertisement: Looking for farm equipment that will get the job done? Check out Monroe-Tufline's webpage on the internet for the distributor nearest you. Tell them you saw their ad on Gene's Page.

01/19/99 - For the latest Dudy Noble Stadium expansion update click here.

01/19/99 - The Diamond Dawgs start practice either Monday or Tuesday of next week.

01/12/99 - The latest word is true freshman Steve Dowe's (LHP) injured shoulder is coming along great. However, it is expected he will be redshirted this year. Look for great things from this young man during his MSU career.

01/07/99 - Baseball America has named MSU baseball pitcher Matt Ginter Pre-Season First Team All-American. Major league scouting directors chose the team. Matt is one of only two SEC players to make the first team. The other being Florida pitcher Matt McClendon.

01/06/99 - Redshirt freshmen Brent Walker and Chad Case have decided to not return to MSU and will enroll at Itawamba CC in Fulton, MS. I'm sure all Bulldog fans will agree with me in wishing both of these young men only the best in all their future endeavors.

01/04/99 - If you want to sell your MSU baseball chairback seats, Brian Johnson would like to buy them. His email address is brianj@c-gate.net.

01/03/99 - I was told, while attending the MSU basketball game yesterday, that redshirt freshman Cory Sumner will not enroll at State for the second semester and will enroll and play at Samford (Birmingham, AL) for former Bulldog Tim Parenton.
